Xbox Insiders can stream games to Discord today with the feature “coming soon” to all

Discord has just announced that its “most requested feature is becoming a reality,” as starting today, Xbox Insiders will be able to stream games to Discord, with the feature coming to all Xbox consoles soon.

Stream to Discord coming to Xbox

“Today, we’re stoked to announce the ability to Stream to Discord is coming to Xbox soon! This is one of the most requested Discord features, letting Xbox players stream their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One games directly to Discord,” the announcement tells us.

Xbox Insiders will be able to try the feature first, starting today. “Xbox Insiders can enjoy one of the most anticipated Discord features on consoles by streaming their Xbox gameplay to their Discord friends. Remember: if you’re one of the lucky Insiders, be sure to give any feedback you have to the Xbox team and help them make the experience as great as it can be!”

Once you’re able to access the feature, you’ll need to connect your Xbox profile to Discord. From there, you can either stream to a Discord server or to a Discord DM or group DM.

Interestingly, Discord’s announcement also hints, “We are far from finished, and we’ll have more news to share with our friends at Xbox later this year.”
